Happy Land Preschool is by far the best preschool in Huntington Beach. Our son Brecken, started when he was 3.5 months old and finished when he was 5 before starting Kindergarten. Even to this day he always says Mina is his 2nd mom because she cared so much for them. He was there for sometimes 9 hours a day and always enjoyed every minute, even sometimes not wanting to leave and to stay longer to play. They are such a carrying preschool where our son thrived. They value each child and ensure their overall safety and wellbeing. Days are spent teaching them math, spelling, playing, or having art classes. They have fun days where they bring in jump houses or have water days. And another perk they feed them breakfast and lunch and give snacks too. The team that works there is NOT ONLY AWESOME but very knowledgeable about kids, take CPR classes, and understand how important a positive environment is. I would highly recommend Happy Land Preschool to all. Well worth my son’s 5 years of life being with them.

I sent my two daughters to Happyland when they were ages 8 months and 2 years old. I was amazed at the love and care that they both received and also how much they grew (physically & emotionally) and how much they learned! It is difficult to leave your children and go to work but with Emilia I felt they were with family. Happyland met my expectations from such a clean and safe environment to all the fun activities they had. This facility is more than a daycare it was a wonderful resource to preparing your children for kindergarten. I loved receiving pictures throughout the day and updates about my children’s day. My kids loved going everyday! We still stop by to say hi to all the staff now when we can , my girls are now ages 7 & 9 . Thank you for all the great memories and taking care of my children.

My Daughter has been going to Happy Land Home Preschool for 3 years now. She started at 4 months old and we could not be happier about our choice. Born 2 months premature my daughter was small and I was very hesitant to leave her anywhere. Emilia made me feel comfortable and answered all of my questions. Her and her staff assisted us in the transition to solid foods, bottle weaning, even potty training. She provides snacks and meals once the child is eating on their own and she has great educational activities. My daughter surprises me constantly with something new she had learned at Happy Land. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, loving, and educational child care environment.

We Love Happyland Preschool! They are extremely caring and it is always clean. My daughter loves the home cooked meals and has learned so much. I am constantly amazed at the things she says and does. Emilia and her staff are amazing and teach the kids good manners and kindness. They treat you like family. I would highly recommend to anyone!

The love and care that Mina and Bellia are able to offer our children from infancy to preschool is immeasurable. These women are absolutely wonderful at what they do – which is care for and love our most prized possessions. Both of our sons have been in their care since infancy and we have been so extremely pleased with everything – from the daily care, the homemade meals, all of the activities and endless learning. From simple things like singing songs to learning ABCs, to potty training and teamwork and teaching Spanish. Our boys (and us) have learned so much and they absolutely love going to school everyday. We absolutely love Happyland Preschool and would highly recommend them!

We moved to Huntington Beach in June 2018. I was referred to Emilia and Happyland Home Preschool (hereafter HLHP) by another mother whose children were also enrolled in HLHP at the time. Emilia came highly recommended, and I was relieved to hear there was a reliable and safe option to enroll my daughter in daycare/preschool close by. My daughter, Eva, was 2 years old when we met Emilia. I was immediately satisfied with Emilia’s demeanor and personality, both calm and collected. After our consultation meeting, I felt confident in Emilia and the home preschool environment that we enrolled Eva immediately. Over the next few months, my daughter Eva made friends with all the kids. Eva began to enjoy going to “school.” HLHP has a close knit family feel. All the kids are close friends and really have a fondness for each other. Most importantly, there is very low turn over: same caretakers, kids, and parents the whole year we’ve been there. This is a testament to care and treatment that Emilia, Belia, and Nelly provide: attentive, responsible, and reliable. When it was time to potty train our daughter, Emilia, Belia, and Nelly handled the task with persistence and compassion. I tell all my friends that Emilia potty trained not just my daughter, but my whole family! It was a quick and painless process that lasted only a couple weeks. Their method was so successful that my 3.5 year old daughter does not wear any diapers or pull ups, even to bed! That’s an accomplishment and not without HLHP. Emilia and staff provide and cook all the meals on site, so no packing a lunch or having to worry about buying unhealthy food options in a pinch. Also, this means all the kids eat the same thing and must try new things with each other during meal times. Emilia is always friendly and willing to discuss any matter with parents. She is flexible and understanding, which is a source of comfort when things go haywire. I would recommend Happyland Home Preschool to any family in the Huntington Beach area that is looking for a welcome and stable learning environment. Happyland Home Preschool has enriched our lives, and we feel very blessed to have been referred to Emilia.

Words cannot express how thankful my husband and I are that we found Mina (Emilia) to care for our children. She is amazing with kids and genuinely loves all of the kids she watches. They were with Mina (Emilia) from babies until they started school. They had structured class time including learning Spanish, play time and nap time. She celebrated birthday and holidays and always included the families. Based on our recommendation my brother and several friends had Mina (Emilia) care for their children and they all loved her just as much. She is amazing and her day care is truly like a big extended family. I highly recommend Happyland Home Preschool!

When my son was a baby, I had the hardest time finding day care for him. I couldn’t seem to find a person or place that made him feel comfortable or that I felt I could trust. After three tries, I finally found Emilia, and I knew the moment I met her that my son would be happy in her home. It’s hard to describe the gift that I feel Emilia has, but I believe it has something to do with truly loving her job and the children in her care. I know when I walk out the door every morning that my children will be safe and well cared-for. Emilia’s pre-school program is also top-notch. The kids learn so much from her that I never even moved my son into an official “pre-school.” He stayed at Emilia’s until he went to Kindergarten, where he was thrilled to go every day and was the top reader in his class. My daughter, who started with Emilia at 3 months, is just as eager to learn as her brother. My kids adore Emilia, and so do I. I highly recommend Happyland Home Preschool!
